Carrie Underwood is returning to American Idol! She and the Black Eyed Peas are teaming up to perform on the annual Idol Gives Back special. Alicia Keys and Annie Lennox are also taking the stage that night.
The charity show has raised more than $140 million. This year, funds will go to Children's Health Fund, Feeding America, Malaria No More, Save the Children's U.S. Programs and the United Nations Foundation.
Ke$ha to Perform American Idol
Former winner David Cook, winner of season seven, is leading this year's Idol Gives Back drive.
"This is something that needs immediate attention," Cook said on a conference call from Ethiopia. "Something like only 20% of the girls here have even had a taste of education, and it's a problem that's not confined to Ethiopia."

Cook said he expects to be involved in the April 21 show, but "at this point" has not been asked to perform
